Seek God
WHILE HE MAY BE FOUND
-Isaiah 55:6
The people around Isaiah had abandoned God and turned to cruelty and oppression. Isaiah reminded them that time is short and that seeking God is a thing of urgency.
Have you ever lost your keys?
You tear your drawers apart trying to find them, because it feels like your life depends on it. Keys unlock what is important to us; God unlocks everything. God is your Creator, giving you life. He has already entrusted you with the earth, provided you with a means for sustenance every day and a hiding place to run to. This is your invitation to seek God like you would your lost keys—with everything you have and everything you know. Pursue him always.
"The kingdom of heaven is. like a treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again, and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that field."
-Jesus Christ, Matthew 13:44

Learn God's Word So You're in-the-Know
Reading the Word of God—the words God has spoken in the past—helps us know who God is. Once we know how he has spoken in the past, it’s easier to hear God speak to us today. This guide gives you the easiest overview of the Bible possible so that you can get started reading right away.
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord
"For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart."
ISAIAH 29:11-13
“For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.” –Jesus Christ, Matthew 18:20
Work In Your Creative Purpose
You were created in the image of a creative God. That means you were born to bring good things into the world. And not just anything—the things you love to do. What you love to do is not an accident—it's your special gift. Consider what it means to be entrusted with the care of the earth, and what part your gifts play in that.
“Then God said, “Let us make man (humanity) in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”
So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.
–Genesis 1:26-28
God Rested
We can trust him for provision as we pause in our own striving and take a break.
“If you keep your feet from breaking the Sabbath and from doing as you please on my holy day, if you call the Sabbath a delight and the Lord’s holy day honorable, and if you honor it by not going your own way and not doing as you please or speaking idle words, then you will find your joy in the Lord, and I will cause you to ride in triumph on the heights of the land and to feast on the inheritance of your father Jacob.”
For the mouth of the Lord has spoken. –Isaiah 58: 13, 14
